Strength Profiles
Cigars range from mild to full-bodied. If you’re new, start mild. A smooth, creamy cigar is a lot more enjoyable than one that knocks you back. Experienced smokers usually lean toward medium or full.
Wrapper Color
The wrapper is the outer leaf, and it shapes much of the flavor:
- Light (Connecticut): smooth, creamy, mellow
- Medium (Habano, Corojo): a little spice, more body
- Dark (Maduro): rich and slightly sweet, with notes of cocoa or coffee
